Head deck in the wagon died months ago, nearly a full year, there were a few tears and being the lazy prick I am, i never replaced it, had the soothing rhythm of a diesel to listen to, after all.
Anyway, fast forward -> missus was borrowing the wagon and as girls do, she decided to leave the lights on and flatten the battery, she roll started it (in reverse O_o) and BOOM, radio started blaring, head deck spat out the CD and started working like new.

It's had me scratching my head.

The force is strong with her?

I would guess bad power wire or earth wire that got bumped while doing the crash gearbox start and fixed it.

Probably a solid state self reseting fuse, they go open circuit (almost, still 0.5mA or something insignificant like that) until power is removed, its been getting power the whole time from the permanent battery feed.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.
