If it were me I'd just wait till you get a standalone ECU (I think you said one was on the cards?) and run a dash display unit.

Hmm, i just checked the clearance website, and everything autometer was $100+ and mechanical.. If you have them in stock can you pm me a list of what electrical gauges you have and prices?

The aftermarket ECU is probably some way away, unless my upcoming performance review result in a decent pay rise. aleready have a shopping list worth about $3k on non-motor parts to work through. In the meantime i'll pretty much be winding the boost on the current motor up to 18psi ish and hoping nothing goes bang.

I know for a fact I have Phantom boost and oil pressure, $50 each. By clearance website I take it you mean the TM page?

Ah right, all good - thought that would have been up to date, the TM often is just random odds and ends.
Bugger they are mechanical too. Shame I cleared out the carbon fibre series last time they were on clearance, they were all electric.

I have some digital caliber gauges i got from super cheap, they only give a rough estimate of what the actual readings are because they are slow to respond i.e, my MAP ECU will read 6psi and the gauge will be reading 1psi. but if i gently build pressure it reads correctly. I wouldnt recommend them.

Got pricing back from VEI, some are okayish eg. ~$280 for oil pressure & temp, with senders. so 2 x $140 gauges with better packaging.

But >$150 for fuel pressure sender can GTFO.

i cant find the gauges i want at repco

i managed to get 2 gauges i wanted from segedins i got the autometer sport-comp(black face white numbers matches my dash) short sweep electric i got the oil pressure 0-100 PSI and the water temp 100-250F

i actually prefer the Fahrenheit gauge as it marks 180F/82C (t-stat opening) instead of 80C

but im looking around for my 3rd gauge which i want to the the 3388 level 2 shift light, cant find anywhere
