Remote brake reservoir hose problem

Postby NOLAW » Mon Jan 06, 2014 7:04 pm

Hey guys

I'm running a willwood remote reservoir setup on my car and im having issues with the hose that runs from the reservoir to the cylinder, it's the black rubber type hose that I was supplied with the kit and it's been in the car nearly 2 months now, it has softend a lot and gone quite jelly like and has slight residue on the outside of the hose and has got me worried that the brake fluid is causing the hose to deteriorate and the last thing I want is fluid through my car and having no brakes, has anyone else had this issue?

Cheers

Any markings on the hose? Should be able to Google the standards to see what they are resistant to.
