Wheel Colour Opinions

Postby Boosted_162 » Tue Feb 11, 2014 7:03 pm

Getting my wheels (Manaray Vertec VR5s) repainted by GT Refinishers, and can't make up my mind on what colour to paint them

Its on a silver sedan. Current suggestion was perhaps gunmetal centres with black dish, but unsure how would look with black dish :?

Anyway, heres a pic (ignore the ride height ) i'd love some suggestions!

Personally I'd leave them as is, and put some 350z 18s or 370z 19s on it.

More importantly, how do you like the 450GT? Does it have seat heaters/coolers and cruise? I looked at these a while ago, a much cheaper alternative to a GS460, but they all seemed to be at a car yard in the South Island. Looks like there are a few in Hamilton now - might go check one out in the weekend.

Unfortunately they are rattle can paint at the moment so does kinda need it! Does have standard 18's but like the look of these better. I dunno! Haha

Absolutely love the car. Has seat heaters and coolers but no cruise :( GS430 was my alternative, but this was way better value. Yep they are all down in chch! I had to fly down and drive back this one. Was definately the best buy I reckon - only 41km whereas the rest have over 100k. Engine is great, interior is super comfy and open road fuel economy is actually ok. Did Welly-Hamilton on half a tank at an average of 9L/100km, and wasn't being cautious on gas.

Only issue i'm finding is lack of parts in NZ - stuff like airfilters just isn't listed. If you dont mind buying from the states it's all good (Infiniti M45 over there)
