Stolen e420C ADAPTRONIC ECU....

Postby jondee86 » Thu Aug 13, 2015 9:42 pm

Putting this here as it seemed like the best place.

I had an e420c stolen out of my car last night in Wellington. One of these...

They are not that common in NZ so if anyone hears of one being offered
around on the social media, in the pub etc., drop me a PM on here or give
me (John) a call on 934-9806.

Also lost audio gear including a green JBL sub and a bunch of vintage JBL
USA amps like his pic, so same goes for them.

Much appreciated... jondee86

Wow, that sucks but very recognizable - I will put some word out among people who may end up having to deal with one of these ECUs as this is the first time I've even heard of one being used in NZ, much less Welly.

Yeah... it is actually a very capable unit, and had a heap of features for a base
model ECU when it first came out. They are still doing software upgrades for it
at the present time, but unfortunately the product has been out of production
for a couple of years, so I can't get an e420c replacement.

The ECU was inside the glovebox that used to be there ^^^^. All the wires were
cut so I have to rip out the whole loom and put a modified stock AE92 one back in,
and change back to a single throttlebody setup. Be interested to see how the AE92
ECU deals with 272 cams :)

Cheers... jondee86
