They say that road user charges negates the effect of diesel being cheaper... what they forget to add is that a diesel vehicle gets better fuel economy.
Dads 2litre diesel rolla wagon gets 600km to a tank if you thrash it... 40 litre tank... $1.20 for diesel, $48 dollars a tank. Thats 12.5km per dollar. Mums 2.2litre camry, 60 litre tank, 500km to a tank $1.71 for 91, $105 per tank 4.75km per dollar.
Cant be bothered working it out with road user charges...

not this diesel... it runs on diesel and neglect... me and my brother flat shift in it, do skids in it, push it against the governor regularly, do handbrake slides on the driveway, jump speedbumps.... it wont die:P
