Ok, just to make sure you all know, cause some people may not.
You will require:

:Helmet
:100% Cotton overalls
:Fire extinguisher ($22 from Supercheap atm)
Optional: fuel can to purchase avgas from Mobil Manfeild

We will be meeting up at the Manawatu Car Club clubrooms on Kawakawa Road, which runs off South St, at 8:30am for briefing, signing forms etc etc.
If all goes to plan, we'll be kicking off at half 9 with a Motorkhana...probably on the front straight (maybe the extension, TBC)
We'll stop for lunch at 12, then at 1 we'll begin the sprints 8) These will go til 4, then we'll have to begin tidying up.
Afterwards, there will be a prizegiving at the clubrooms, along with BBQ and drinks etc.
Make sure you bring cameras, it'd be cool to get heaps of footage of the days action 8)

I suspect for that you'll need a cage and harnesses etc?

From what I am aware of the rules - Full cage at least is required.

Hmm ok, If I had known this was the case I may not have entered as i don't want to drill holes in the floor of the road car for one event to mount an extinguisher, is it possible to pull out of this event and get money back?

Make a bracket to bolt onto the front of your passengers seat.

As above...its what I'm gonna do, don't want any extra holes in the wagon
Plus they're good to have in road cars anyway :D

I am making a bracket for both mine and sideros' cars so we can mount our extinguishers to the front of the seat as i dont want holes in my supra either.

If you like i can get some extra steel and we can make one up for your car over the weekend so its ready for the monday?

Let me know and ill obtain some more steel

yes, sounds much good, sorted then, I know you should really have an extinguisher in the car, but I want to keep it original rather than munt it like 99% of the others out there

Yes please could you get some more and make me one, Will you need any measurements or anything? I have txted you but i'm not sure if you still have the same number?

I'll have a chat to sam at work and see what he says, It's not hard to make so we could prolly fabricate something on the spot within few minutes! Just need metal...

You have PM

Also if anybody else needs one let me know as i will most likely be visiting the man with the metal in the next few days, figure i might as well give everybody the chance to get one if they need it, just drop me a PM with what kind of car you have and we can sort something
