Well had an "interesting" day at the track.
My oil drain was leaking which I wrapped in heat wrap, turned into a smoke machine, almost catching fire. So after about 3 laps, I had to stop.
I took the old pipe off - went into Pukekohe town to look for an engineers - although, being mid-day on a Saturday, that was a hard ask apparently, as the first 3 people said "nah cant be bothered" - useless c*nts!
Anyway - found someone who can do it - back to the track, now it's too short - bugger - so thanks to the oh so kind David Linton (thank you sir!!) - I soon had a long piece of rubber and was able to put it on!
Round the track - a few times - getting used to actually driving fast, and not crashing - I spun going into castrol - all I could think about was a video on youtube with a guy who did the same and mashed his mag on the ripple strip - so I managed to "straddle" the ripple strip and save me all sorts of problems hehe.
Anyway - I went in after that - let everything cool down - went out again - got a few good laps in - then, on the same corner, understeered and without driving onto the over-large ripple strips I straighted up and went onto the grass, then back on the track

Best lap of the day was a 1:15.4
Very happy with that - I wanted to get a 1:20 - so yay

Any - all is well with the car - except for the leaking manifold - dam.....
Video's of the spin and some incar laps will be up later this avo
