Buy it, strip it, and tell the finance company to collect what you dont need, win/win :D

I actually managed to get finance removed from a car I was looking at buying, though I'm not sure how much was outstanding...obviously they cant tell you that.
When I rang and enquired about it, they asked me where it was and I said it was in a shed in heaps of pieces, and I was only interested in it for parts. They were going to send out an investigator, but then decided it wasnt worthwhile

Elsewhere in this forum are threads applauding the actions of an Aussie vigilante in dealing with a thief and roasting a young errant Silvia driver from Christchurch.

Yet here we have a thread encouraging theft of a finance company's secured assets.

It's good to know that at Toyspeed the sanctimonious self rightousness is selective.

Its not theft if you're returning most of it

Though if you read the thread properly, you might take note of smiley faces, hinting thats it in jest

FYI - Broadlands have already repo'd this car from the first owner and on sold it themselves. They just forgot to remove the security off the PPSR.

Should be removed in the next day or so

you make it sound like toyspeed has a collective voice or something. im not sure who has said what in which threads, but might help to remember this place is full of disparate individuals. just because, for example, i might condone trying to rip off finance companies doesnt mean toyspeed as a whole is hypocritical.

i got told that the sway bars in a list of models are "stiffer" than mine, and i would like to be slightly stiffer in the back for that extra bit of grip...

Any corrections will be much appreciated! I am still new to this remember...
