Help me think of a sedan that would satisfy the following!!

- around $7000 market price
- around 2L engine
- four doors
- performance comparable to a BZR....(im just using BZR as a benchmark really)

what are my options if I need to get something with four doors....??

"the person" that usually sits on the front passenger seat finds the BZR too rough......you know...the make up goes crazy when there are little holes on the road lol

and I also think something with four doors would suite me somewhat better.

problem is, I love the way BZRs drive, and can't seems to think of many cars that would satisfy the above requirements....i'm normally not a fast driver, but simply cannot stand a car that would no go when you need/want it to.....if you know what I mean

Chaser/Mark II will do the job on the motorway but sluggish off the mark with a non turbo auto.

If you want comfort and power then go for a LS400/Celsior.

Tell your passenger to harden up or to catch the bus. Chch roads are bumpy as. I'd recommend a 4WD if you want to reduce the bumps. They will still bounce you around though, no two ways about it.

are altezzas good in terms of performance?? I know that RS200 is probably good but dont know about AS200. And its been puzzling me why is the RS version a 4-piston and AS a 6-piston...??

My gf has the 6cyl auto, and after hearing all the bagging of them, i thought it would be a piece of crap... but its a really nice car to drive and i was quite impressed with the amount of power it had for a 2ltr.

It is not fast by any means but has a nice smooth power band, that you dont have to rev the shit out of to get it to go anywhere (because it wouldn't go any faster if you did.)

Really depends what you want your altezza for, if you want a sports car get the I4, if you want a nice cruiser get the I6. Theres a reason Lexus put the 6 in their version. Brendan Duncker got more than 1000kms off a tank in an I6 model with a really high diff ratio.
