Shouldn't be too hard to drop the pan and weld some sheetmetal in there, then paint the outside black again. Not like they will check.
Series wont last long if they have competitors that keep blowing motors and aren't allowed to do anything to stop it.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

to be fair 3SGE's have a reputation for having a bottom end made out of glass, gummy bears, and explode. So two of them failing in a race meeting might just be a case of it being their time to rattle to death

Manfeild round had 27 cars turn up, again the AE111 and DC2 engaged in a good scrap, and now an AE111 leads the series after 5 rounds...2 more rounds remain, Taupo on Apr 5 and then Hampton Downs May 6(?)
Go a Toyota !!

Taupo racing done and dusted , one win for AE111 and one win for DC2 , series now heads to Hampton on May 3rd for 1 hour final race. Double points round.

47 cars racing at Taupo meeting , great weather , good racing, some cars came away with panel damage , and a few with engine failure unfortunately.

Points tally hopefully still has Toyota AE111 leading the series, and also 3rd place for AE111 with an SW20 in 4th I think. !

Please come and support the Toyotas at the last race , cheers

Just over two weeks until final round,,,,Hampton Downs. With a few more cars joining in , I think there is a 1 hour race on Sat May 3rd for 1.5/1.6k cars (25 of them?) and a 1 hour race on Sun May 4th for the 2k field of 46 cars. Again,Toyota are 3 of the top 4 cars overall in series, and enjoying really close racing with Honda, Mazda, Peugeot etc.

Please come down and watch/support the class, there will no doubt be a BBQ or two going at the end, and they are a very friendly bunch . It'd be great to see a Toyota car win the series, but I think the Hondas are prob a little quicker.

Toyota 1st, 2nd, 3rd in 2k cup overall for the season !

Race at HD was won today by an AE111 Blacktop, chased home hard by a DC2 Integra, and points tally shows clean sweep to a Toyota after 7 rounds, and approx 6 hours racing !

Nice one!
I have to say I was wrong about how I thought things would go. Personally, I would be reluctant to enter without a cage. But it looks as if it was well run and a success!

Plenty of small dings and scrapes during the season, but no major impacts, no rollovers etc.. Lots of clean but spirited driving

nice one.not a series i would invest in, but good to see a new entry level class emerge.
Sport Saloons down here was a decent bridge between Clubsport and circuit.................. until clowns started changing the rules

100+ cars now registered for 2nd season of 2k, looking to kick off Sept 27/28 Hampton Downs. Another Toyota vs Honda battle this year ?
