Just spoke to my mate about the results of changing the Blacktop to 95, very limited if any at all knock on hill starts and much better long distance fuel economy.

Bolted the waterpump on and fitted the timing belt, after a bit of fart-arsing around getting the fake HKS adj cam gears to fit properly (Had a 6mm hole for the knock pin instead of the 5mm size it should be). Also discovered that a gen2 3sgte with gen3 NA valvetrain + skimmed head and skimmed block is no longer a non interference motor. Also have new rotors for the Honda in the boot to fit when weather is not so shit.

Got 245/40/19 Falken FK452's fitted this afternoon by Tyre City North Shore (Excuse the bad photos!)

Attempted to fit new front rotors to the honda.. but the shop supplied the wrong ones, centerbore was too large. Will try again next week once i've swapped for the correct rotors.

cleaned bout 10kg of gravel/mud off the underside of lantis .Found water leak from rear window.
Took off front door cards to fix speakers and found none there ........found hacked wiring and door panels to fit 6x9's :?

Kind of explains lack of central locking/ random buzzing noises with exposed wires ect .
Also ordered a new cv to replace the one clicking its balls off.

If it seals better you may lose less fuel via vapors?
