Wheels now look like this:

Still need a few coats then will get the tyres fitted. Then the swift wheel/snow tyre combo on the Carib can $&#$% off.

Installed a Toyota Blade Master G steering wheel, complete with paddle shifters that I wired into the console

Yeah, will be mostly finished by the end of tomorrow.
I had camera setup issues so missed the lean-to setup. Now all closed in except for roof.

Completely redid the spark map on my Megasquirt, and tweaked the fuel map at WOT. Feels MUCH better now!

Nothing. New cars are either expensive or boring.

I miss my old ae101 reading through this... :(

Shitty cellphone pic but finally got some coilovers, bc golds at out of the box settings/heights.
Going to have a play with them tomorrow to try bring the back down a bit then do a string alignment as the fronts got a bit of toe out and the steering wheel is crooked.

Update on coilovers, played around with the height and preload settings and managed to get it evened out.

Finally got round to putting on my new rims. Found when swapping rims that one of the hub adapters was missing under the old ones. so that's going to be annoying to track down just 1. Also need new wheel nuts that aren't all rusty!

Had some nice sunshine and 18+ degree heat so got the headlining in my red Corolla sorted. Came out really, really good. $50 worth of material and ADOS spray and we are laughing.

Bought another toyota

1988 Toyota Trueno, AE92 4AGE.

Owner sold it cheap as it had major mechanical problems which he could not fix.

So I got it home and replaced the faulty coil, and now it goes.

Got rid of an exhaust flange that was rattling on my swaybar. Couldn't find any exhaust shops open today so had a shot at it myself with my welder.
Not the best but still better than some exhaust jobs I've had in the past

Gave the old girl a wash. Still comes up ok, does need a good polish and wax again though.
Had her for about five years now and still puts a smile on my face each day.
Sadly her time is drawing to an end...
