I no I find it funny aswell the supposed biggest obstacle was going to be the price every magazine i saw indicated you can get this for 1/2 the price and all that yet from the way it sounds they will have sold the 500 in perhaps the 1st 6 months they've been on sale......  ..shows you how much all these publications no.

In Toyota's defense though I suppose if you build something like this and do it right you can charge what you like, now thats cool.... 8) 8) 8)

well realistically, if they're not all sold in the first 6 months, then they won't be sold.

A DX with that engine..... Has anybody seen the Top Gear episode of UK vs AU? Remember the van???
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I no its embarrasing.

Why not post up the Lexus LFA holds the production car record at the Goodwood Circuit of 1.22.62 done by Lexus test Driver Akira Lida and also had a passenger onboard on the Lexus Germany test day.

I think without a passenger the LFA would go close to cracking a 1.20..

I put that link to my youtube page it shows how good the Japanese test drivers are Akira Lida in this case he just know's the absolute limit of the LFA at a similar day they had a british rally driver who is quite good but just not in the same league as Lida when it comes to knowing the LFa though.

Just seen on the club lexus forums apparently the RING EDITION LFA has just broken the Porsche GT2 RS production car lap record around the Nurburgring.

The time to beat was 7.17 the Ring Edition LFA did it in 7.14 apparently.

Footage isn't up yet but it has been confirmed on Lexus Europes Twitter account that the Nurburgring Edition has done a time that is under 7 minutes 14 seconds on its road tyres which are Bridgestone RE 070's I think.

I believe the Z06 Corvette and Porsche GT2 RS both did there laps on R Compound Michelins as they were both under 7.20 also.

Mate heres some footage from Autoweek at the rollout of the NE LFA funnily enough at the Nurburgring.I just can't get past this the sound this thing makes at 9000+ rpm its just intoxicating.

Subtitles even.
