Good... trademe seems to be pretty good about making changes the "right way"... about the only thing that annoys me about them is the strictness on contact details in auctions, I mean I was going to buy something for inside the car, but the pic was a generic publicity pic, you know the type, all pretty and air brushed, with perfect lighting, and I wanted to see an incar shot. I asked for one, he said email addy, I did, and got sent an email from trademe going nuts.

Yeah, but all they seem to do is send an automated warning message every time with empty threats...

I've had countless warnings from them for that, along with lisiting in wrong categorys, having friends bid on auctions, and 'bad language' in auctions question and answer sections, it's nearly the exact same e-mail every time...

Never know, People could start restoring T-50s, lock them in garage and only bring out at Autosalon or to polish them.

Wow, someones grandma might have one that she only took to church on Sundays, still with original release bearing & factory oil!

Better yet! Stuff the 86 meet, why not start a T-50 meet! Might even catch a glimpse of the odd T-40!

Crazy stuff guys :D

A T50 is woth 2/10 of that price without the bellhousing.

or a w5* with a nite parts bell, and never have to get under your car for the sake of blown boxes again.

We all know that the t50 bells arent really worth that much, its just the muppets who decide they want a 4age "project" [read: something to smoke pot beside in the weekends because theyre so retarded the only thing they can do is work and spend money on crap, such as monster tachos, gay race seats, neons, tints, and pot] that push the prices up so far that only they themselves ("muppets") can afford them

Still, feels good having one sitting in the garage, knowing somebody wants it and they cant have it.

$&#$% the t50s their shit who the $&#$% wants a gearbox that is that weak for the extensive price they pay. for $700 to $800 you can do a w series box
with nite parts bellhousing and save money in rebuilding t50s.

but if you compare even $800 for a t50 with the approximate $8,000 - $10,000 they cost from toyota, its cheap.

ive picked up a few cheap ones over time though you just gota look around.

pull a T50 from a corona that you bought for $50

then get a 5k corona t50 bellhousing, drill a couple of new holes in it, and file out some of the original holes slightly

then it will fit to a 4age

for half the cost of buying an A series one

(thats what i did heh)

Dunno if it makes a difference on a T50 box, but in GTX box's putting better bearings in them makes them quite a bit stronger.

Because of the angle cut gears, the input and output shaft push each other apart and then s**t just hits the fan and all hell breaks loose in there :?
