for the most part I agree with that link however this
accelerate in an unnecessary way on a road,

* You could face 3 months in prison, or fines up to $4,500; and lose your licence for at least 6 months.

* Police may impound your car for 28 days at your expense - effective immediately.

That I find wrong..Accelerate unecessariliy? How would you define that?

So dumb...

I would define it as launching from a standstill at WOT until the limit (usually in first gear if it's a 50kph area) and then either shifting to 4th or 5th and cruising along (people do this all the time, so funny to watch  VRRROOOOOOOMMMM pssshh mmmmmmmmmmmm) or carrying on past the limit and so on. Whether the police take it this way too is debatable, and I'd imagine some would be in the mindset that using anything over 2500rpm before changing gear is excessive

as chelles said, tarred with the same brush. not everyone is out there doing stupid shit.

as far as im concerned the problem isnt as great as the great media machine portrays it to be.

there laws are bullshit and discriminatory as well as breaching a handfull of rights.

as it has been said:
1500 people died last year due to medical malpractice / gross misdiagnosis.
400 people died on the roads.
why the $&#$% do they portray our roads as our biggest killer.

thats not true.

a 50 year old man who does 111kmph is not a boy racer... just means hes a speeder.. not everyone who does stupid stuff is also a boy racer someone who changes lanes without indication is just breaking the law doesent mean they are classed as a boy racer.

If you pour or spill petrol, oil, diesel fuel, or any other any other slippery substance likely to cause a vehicle to lose traction, onto any road.

I don't see the cops out there handing out $600 fines to people whose cars have oil leaks...

If you injure or kill someone while doing this, you could go to prison for up to 5 years, or face a fine up to $20,000 and lose your licence for 1 year.

So if you kill someone while being stupid with a car you go to jail for 5 years? That's pretty lenient, why not manslaughter charges?

Hmm i often speed, do skids and other stuff like that - how ever i do that in my race car, on closed roads. Does that make me a boy racer nope not a chance. The thing i don't like is that fact that i am tared with the same brush as all the boy racers when i'm towing my car to or from events, however using the same vehicle for day to day activities like work no one cares. I'm waiting to see what happens when i get my race car all wof'd and going with an authority card and have the oh hello wheres your cert for that and i point to the authority card, know of one or 3 people who have been given greif for the authoritys less than perfect understanding or authority card etc.
PS You should really change that bit in your post to say where you can't do silly shit cos you can do all of that stuff in a paddock behind your house and not be a boy racer at all.
