That really is the kind of damage you'd expect from a hugely force inducted engine, not an N/A!

Or someone who rebuilt their motor using torque settings in newton metres when it should have been foot pounds. :lol:

(Or vice versa... cant remember which is bigger)

I've seen that happen before on a B16 when someone mis-shifted and went to 1st instead of 3rd. The amount of resistance he must of got from trying to do that, yet he was determined to destroy his block! lol

i showed the pics to dad, his theory was: probably a piston failure that started the carnage, which then snapped the crank, causing the rest


we've had an rb26 come apart at the rev limiter once, engine bits everywhere, but it only blew a hole in the block and it didnt snap the crank
