Hmmm, I'm sure I read a proper review(with dynos etc) of an Exhaust that had what amounted to a double-helix of sorts inside it to swirl the exhaust and increase the speed of the gas flow, and it also gave benefits in sound reduction(via wave reflection)... will have to see if I can find it.

Put smaller pipe = increase speed of the gas flow != higher performance

hmmm, my memory was exagerating it, and I can't find the info with dynos.

http://www.autospeed.co.nz/cms/A_1744/article.html?popularArticle was the URL that got me looking at it, its the "Eddy-Generating Muffler"

My thermodynamics is pretty minimal... but kinda makes sense.
A swirl in a pipe means the gases are having to travel extra distance within the same time. Inside a muffler this sounds like a good idea as it would cause more energy loss...

Kinda similar idea as to what is (apparently) on some diesels. They have a swirling device in the intake to help remove suspended water from the air.

Also (and this is gonna cause flaming no doubt) I still reserve judgement on the Fuelstar... Someone can't operate a business for over 20 years based upon falsifications and misrepresentations. There's gotta be something there... I just don't know what it is.

The something are gullible people (aka believers). Crystal balls don't work, but there is a businesses that make them, same goes with psychics, they are biggest douches but people still believe them. Where is that guy with dyno sheet before and after, he spent over $400 on fuelstar, why he suddenly disappeared from this forum after installing it?

I do not believe in psychics and WHY... but a relative did have an experience where a psychic told them some very NON-generic information about events to come... and the events panned out in exactly that way... Blind luck? Random goodness (probably not since the event was a bad event, but you know what I mean)? And then there is that person the show Medium is based on... Even the scientists were struggling to disprove her "abilities"...

Can you run a business for 20 years based on lies and falsifications, turn a profit, and not have another source of income? The fuelstar guys gotta be doing something right if he is...
