AMI are the most likey to to not fit the cheapest 2nd hand parts with a pile of bog! state are the tightest $%@# around
Thats only if you don't go through one of there approved repairers, 1st time my flattie drove into the front of my car, i took it to who i wanted to take it to as my family had had good work from this panel beater, and yup state sourced the parts, new for some stuff, but lights were 2nd hand. But when i took it to another panel beater when i had an old lady hit me from behind last year, they were state approved and it was all brand new genuine parts(which Toyota NZ lost & then found 3 weeks latter)
I've had more problems with AMI than I have with State, and AMI were the same price for just my car as State are for car & contents, AMI wanted almost twice as much as State for both insurances, and this was going in and dealing with them face to face.
