I'd rather hit an Evo 2 that a GT-Four also. It would be more likely to crumple given the cheap, lightweight Mitsi construction.

Are there any left that haven't rusted through the roof yet anyway?

Yes plenty, but unfortunately they are probably well thrashed or the owner won't part with it. I know of one in particular that despite being used as a drag car (ran consistant low 11's till he ran a high 10 then stopped). No rust in the roof, well maintained and imaculate condition. I doubt he'd part with it to easily!

I have to say that despite my deep love of ST205's I would rather have a mint evo2 RS over almost any other weekend car

One video isn't going to prove that 4WD suck balls at handling, more so that just because a car is 4WD doesn't mean it will win

Plus we all know FWD are the best handling cars

This settled that argument years ago:

Am I the only one that doesn't like modded cars? Tacky gauges, boost controllers, POD filters, adjustable suspension, bucket seats etc are all massive turn offs for me. Mags, springs& tints are about my limit as long as they don't go too far.

I'd be more inclined to buy a stock car over a modified one - two reasons
Want to build the car the way I want it
Doubt as to whether the previous owner did things properly

Then proceed to do most of those things you mentioned (bucket seats only if getting a cage and harness though)

challenge is laid down!

supra vs celica, GO!

WRU V9 lunchie :P

Challenge accepted! I would actually like to put this to the test and play it as fair as possible to see what would come out on top. Im no fool, i know how heavy the Mk3 supra is and is more of a Sports Tourer then anything. But with slight mods on both vehicles i reckon the Supra has a chance.

Handling =/= grip, typical honda kiddie myth/mistake.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Ridiculously cool, but it'd never get traction!
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

I love tastefully modified cars, and thats personally why i would want a st205 over evo2.

Don't start this convo, it has been covered MANY times and usually ends in the mods locking it.

We can both admit that each car has its strengths and weaknesses.

"4wd = best handling"

depends what 4wd =

ST205 a WRC rally pedigree?

4wd the crappy system that goes into most family cars as an option?

4wd as in a 4x4 offroader?

4wd as in those big SUVs that mum drives to the supermarket into be high up and "safe" by bowling over small cars?
