I run over 500 watts of lights on my truck :-D Go the 80 amp alt!!

Im planning one day to up my main bulbs to 130/90s. I'll be running a wiring kit with relays as I dont belive in those 'uprated' bulbs either. By just changing the colour of the light emitted a lot of lights 'appear' to be brighter where as they often arent. Ive had very good results with putting in relays for less voltage drop, so Im old school and will stick with it, also thats what Id advise also.

Ive still got a loom designed for toyotas that has 2 earths, a positive lead, 2 bulb sockets and a plug to attach to original wiring harness so its REAL easy to fit. Reason for a new loom is because toyota do a funny thing with there wiring that uses the low beam circuit to power the high beam warning light on dash, which makes 'just fitting relays' a little harder.

Cheap and easy way out, go the 'uprated' bulbs.

My recomendations for GOOD lighting, higher wattage bulbs with GOOD wiring and relays.

Yep, the Ebay one I linked is specifically for Toyota's because of their funny way of wiring. Has a plug that hooks into one of your headlight sockets to trigger it, feed direct from battery, two replacement sockets for the headlights and I can't remember if it had one or two earths (bought one for a Mazda at the same time, one was single the other was double earth). For the cost you could barely buy the relays at retail here let alone get the decent high temp headlight sockets.
