Good to see the owner doing what the car is designed for.

Lexus have designed this car to be thrashed.

I see the 2 test mules in the US earlier this year have just surpassed 40,000 miles with them only have to replace fluids brake pads & tyres.

No surprises there ^

Cant beat the build quality of their flagship models.

There was a story I read on FB yesterday about a guy who bought a Lexus LS400 with almost 1,000,000 miles on it...still looked great and everything still worked perfectly.

Try showing me any other Japanese brand car with a million clicks on it and lets see how well everything is working lol

Memory is a bit rusty on this, but I have in my head I met an old fella in Mangakino (father of someone I knew?) a number of years ago who had an old Navarra/Safari thing which he had owned since near new and it was getting close to 1,000,000 (whatever the km were he made a big deal out of it) and absolutely rated the hell out of it... obviously probably mainly long trips due to being in the middle of nowhere, but it's probably one of the highest km vehicles I've ever seen and it seemed relatively ok nick - wouldn't have put it at km over 350,000

^ We had a 2L Hilux years ago that always came in for WOF's and servicing, had done something like 1.2 million km before he stopped using it on his rural postie deliveries. Still had the original motor in it and had never been opened up too.

Yeah sorry I think that was the case too, aside from typical maintenance it was the original internals.

Not a car but I know of a Mitsi truck that has done a million kays and its still on its original clutch. It all depends on how you treat them really.

Track thrashing followed by donuts in the carpark is definitely the way to treat an LFA! :D

So i was chatting to a friend last night and he was telling me there is another LFA in Christchurch. He said it's new, not sure if it's even registered or what not, he knows the guy that has it.
