The grasskhana is being held on a farm in Bulls, so reasonably close to the campground etc.
I'm gonna get details about payment this week, hopefully for the accomodation and trackday!

Noticed that one of the new members posted a pic of them on a track with a passenger.

Are we allowed to drag a sorry ass mate around a track as well or strictly driver only.

I'm guessing if we are allowed to drag a mate around we have to make sure they have the same safety gear we need.

My understanding of the day is that is being run as a driver experience day so I am assuming that passengers are aloud with the correct safety gear of course.I think the bare minimum there is at least a approved helmet.

I've never needed a cage at any of the MSNZ track events i've been to in order to be able to run slicks.

You sure you're not getting confused re: event/class regulations?

I think its a very fair call, its not a race meeting so why do you need slicks?
All the cars going are street cars so DOT legal tyres should be required.

I dont think anyone here would use slicks here cos there arent any serious race cars going. Only classes like super gt, muscle cars etc use slicks and I doubt anyone of those cars would be coming.

And basically thats my view point as well. Its not a hardout day by any means, so to keep some sort of parity it'd be good to keep it with DOT tyres.
