The downside to a fast car that looks slow: Vans and 4X4s pull out in front of me at over taking lanes, then they use THE WHOLE passing lane to pass one(or less) cars

i dont think this phenomenon is limited to fast cars that look slow. i imagine on lamborghini forums they complain that people pull out in front of them too. its just a combination of being a bit selfish and alot oblivious.

How bout the guys that tailgate you in the fast lane you do the right thing pull into the slow lane drop your speed to 95 they shoot by at 110 or whatever pull back into the slow lane and slow back down to 90 and your backed up behind them lol it happened to me on the weekend I'm like what hahahaha.

Happened to me on the way home in my Chaser, random bro's in a early 90's Maxima repeatedly hooning right up to my bumper then backing off in a 50k zone.

CBF'd with people like that, just ignored them and carried on doing 50.

ive had it happen to me before on a straight just before an amazing piece of road i really wanted to have a thrash on, and he took 65kmh corners at 35 and was on the brakes the whole time, and blatantly refused to pull over into one of the many slow car lanes, to the point i considered using the slow vehicle lane to get past him, but decided against uit

and just my luck he $&#$% did it to me AGAIN on the way back the next god damn day

so i sat on the truck horns until he pulled the $&#$% over and let me past, i was gobsmacked i had to do such a thing

I've had this with a guy in a Porsche. He was driving about ~110 and I was keeping below 104. I figured he was wanting to go for a spirited drive soI pulled to the left to let him pass before the twisties.

He then proceeded to drive well below the suggest speed signs around the bends.

Indeed a good point, have actually seen that on the track as well - was highly amused to see a 3SGTE powered AWD Corolla swing out to overtake a mates Honda Prelude at the start of a race session at Manfeild only to hang about the same distance behind, if not fall back slightly - all manner of aggressive driving ensued to try and set it 'right'

What is really mind boggling is in the strange unwritten rules of the "overtaking" hierarchy is my POS old EL Fairmont used to get tail gated/blocked off less than my Skyline with over twice the power and roughly 2 zillion times the handling/braking ability. Mostly strife came from Ford/Holden/Mercedes drivers it seemed - I was always going to be holding them up, even if ( or especially if) I had just caught up and overtaken them.
