Speaking from personal experience, just some advice for ANYONE looking for insurance, unless you HAVE to dont go through National Auto Club their service, policies, claim times and prices are horrendous as I found when I nose to tailed my trueno it sat at my panelbeaters for a month and I has countless arguments with the manager. Not to mention the $1600 excess and the nearly $1500 p/a fees.

Ouch that sucks. I will most likely go through State, I will just have to save the $1500 before I get the car and hope that a 1 year no claims bonus will bring it down a bit. I worked out that $1500 p/a is $30 roughly which is pretty high for a student workin at pak 'n save
