I suggest you make the sump guard out of the hardest material known to mankind, and fit 8 shocks not four. Also fit ultra long travel suspension. That's a very rugged rally. Very hard roads with some serious holes in the road.

you dont want one of those foul thing gavs :? ya ae92 will run them down easily enough with the right fettling. mine has managed to once or twice  plus its easier to fix and cheaper to get parts for. :D

not going too badly. cars running again with new battery.
the boostie controllerer was also fried , 6 days out of warranty and theyve gone up 100$ since i got it  so now waiting on another one to arrive which should have done today with luck.
then its on to installing the monster fuel pump and slotting in the 500cc injectors. and then chuck it on the dyno and turn up the boost until something interesting happens. probly be 2-3 days after the profec arrives that ill get it back
looks like itll be another expensive visit hopefully with some satisfying results again.

Private forsetry roads are like that - planning on taking it real easy plus having good sump gaurd hell lets just say seeing it's taking me that long to build i'm doing it properly, to last like :)
But i know what you mean about the holes and stuff after watching some incar footage of bits and pieces private stuff you hear shit big hole from co-driver then it all goe's a bit shaky :?

That's not technically classes as a 'Toyota in the build'. :P
Also 99.7325% of the time when people concider things on here they never end up doing it...

yeah i no what you mean never end up doing it as i was originally was concidering a vh41de motor into a skyline and twin turbo it started to build car and motor and then sum1 did it to a s13 so i never finished it as sum1 else had basically done it
hence why im asking people in another thread bout a v8 starlet that has been in sum magazines as im wanting to now what they've done to see if its worth me starting to do such a job to find out il be 2nd or 3rd person to have a road legal v8 starlet
and it is technically in the build as iv got the starlet and its getting stript down i just havnt fully decided on what motor its getting or if its guna be road legal or race/ rally

thanx
