just be thankful your not like two guys I know of.

both drove together to the AA office to sit their full licences i.e. both on restricted. Licencing officer walks out of AA after seeing them rock up and failed them both instantly for not having a licenced driver with them

how can he do that?

you can only fail them on the vehicle having no wof, or fail for something they did during the test....

they arnt police officers, they are AA officers...

id ask to talk to whoevers in charge . kick up a fuss. its none of his business what you do (law abiding or not) when hes not testing you.

Wouldn't have taken much to get their plates and pass them on... since I imagine after finding out they failed, they would've hopped back in and driven off.

And some of us get annoyed because it's things like that the media jump all over and have created the whole "Boy racer" image.

the aa guy obviously is just a c**t, I mean, why should the passenger get instant fail? they did nothing wrong imo, rules are rules I guess, so the driver was in the wrong, but damn he must be a right wanka

Sounds justified to me, if you break the rules and the testing officer is aware then he has more than enough justification to fail you. It is not just a test of your driving capability.

I know of someone who drove himself to his test on his expired foreign licence. The officer failed him and sent him home for driving without a licence. Fair enough for being so stupid.

people crossing road......

If you need more examples than that to get an idea of what hazzards are, maybe you need some lessons, or do the defensive driving course
