Did you get the fitting kit with the TRD diff, mate?

I hope you have a nice big carpark nearby to go and do a pile of figure 8's in, to help wear in the plates ;)

What oil are you going to run?

Tried on a new shoe... looks like it might fit alright*
Have a couple of widths to try on the front, but lost interest so no trial fit today.

*will require some work to get it right when lowered mind you.

Deets on springs? Fixing rust is first job. Still working out options for slam. Will go cert territory if required to do it right.

Hacksaw'd off a section of my FFIM throttle body flange, so the little arm on the Q45 TB wont foul on it anymore.

Polished plenum with Autosol for an hour, and then shook head at myself as Im going to be painting it crinkle coat black lol

Out of interest what brand crinkle paint do you use? I need to redo some cam covers and was thinking of a nice red crinkle coat.

I haven't bought any yet, mate.

I have been told to steer clear of a couple of brands that have it in rattle packs, I will need to ask my friend again, exactly which ones they were.

Have thought about crinkle red, but didnt want anyone thinking I was trying to make it look like an Italian exotic lol.

Was thinking I would like to black crinkle coat my FFIM, cam covers, turbo compressor housing, all intercooler piping, with black couplers etc...stealth lol

Bought 2x new rear tyres, new brake pads and skimmed front rotors on the soarer.
$600 later, went for a WOF and found out my power steering rack is leaking.

FML. Got quoted $931 for a 2nd hand replacement. Anyone have any hookups?

Just received a full set of OEM Bilstein struts with new nuts and bolts. Thanks Mark.

They are much bigger than my current struts.

It was time for an oil change so I decided to take advantage of Repco's current 25% off oil sale and picked up a bottle of Penrite 15W-50 '10 Tenths Racing' full synthetic. For years I've been using Valvoline Engine Armour 15W-40 semi-synthetic, but since the Blacktop likes to burn a little at high rpms I figured it would be best to go slightly thicker this time around and try out a full synthetic oil at the same time.
