lol, I was going to add, "although didnt particularly like the campaign myself", but either hype alone or the campaign has made them sell pretty quick - just would be keen to know what total numbers per model have sold...its not really surprising that 20 or so GT86's are sold out - is it any more than that?

They have done quite a good job really, lots of new cars are lucky to get a mention in the herald a month later!

Our 86 arrived today, will try get some pictures tomorrow. Gearbox shifting feels really nice, short and accurate.

Nelson now has two (customer GT + demo 86), I had a sit in the demo as it's identical to the one my parents have ordered, pretty damn nice place to be, shame about the wheels on both...

The only negative comment I can make regarding the interior is that the steering wheel doesnt come up high enough (for my liking anyway).

Apart from that the driving position is perfect, and the feel of the manual gearbox, its incredible!

Drove one today and all I can say is wow, Subaru have nailed the chassis, its brilliant, steering wheel and steering itself is perfect as is the balance of the chassis on the limit, very adjustable and fun, seats are great as is the seating position, a very very nice sports car.

Couldn't agree more! Just took ours for a drive and was really impressed. Only gripe was the brakes didn't feel spectacular - though it's a base spec and the GT is meant to be much better there.

Steve - can't promise anything but will try. Though let down bones_on_bikes yesterday making the same promise :(

Sadly agree; if I do end up buying one early next year I'll be after an aero model, minus the spoiler. Stunning looking car otherwise, though!
