Cheers mate. If you go for a respray I'd suggest "Velocity Red" (RX8, later MPS) over the "True Red" that this one is. My RX8 is much nicer in the sun than the MPS. Velocity Red A80 with carbon trd3000gt spoiler and carbon front lip would be sweet!

Funnily enough, I dont really like the velocity red as a colour by itself, but it does work well with all the edges that the rx8 has.

The "true red" looks very similar to the Toyota code 3PO, which has always been the only other red I had considered getting if I didnt stick with the factory 3L2 code.

Ive got a few more carbon bits to fit to the car once its finally resprayed, like ganador mirrors, and an exhaust tip heat shield to tie in with the TRD wing, and the bonnet. A carbon diffuser has always been part of the long term plan, and If I can source some ridox/shine auto, skirts and spats, with the carbon bottom edge, I will snap them up too ;)

Did all the turbo MPS 3s come with a hood scoop? What's the reason for yours not having one? I assume yours is turbo going off previous posts.

Only the BL's did. The BK have like an air ram thing in the grill going to the top mount. Maybe it's not as efficient as a scoop, but it looks a whole lot less OTT.

Easiest way to tell a BK turbo is the spoiler, 18's and a line running down the raised bit of the bonnet from front to back.

I have never seen one with the stripes. It's either they are rare or I'm blind. I'm usually quite observant of any cars that have something slightly different about them.

Not the stripes, i think those are after market. Look at the 3rd photo and you'll see what I mean. It's possibly a slight rise to allow for the interwarmer, i've never had a close look.

There's a shroud under there that surrounds/sits on top of the intercooler and the air ducts in the grille are connected to it.

Today/yesterday: Fitted new rear engine mount and whiteline anti lift kit

Not today but Sunday I fixed my 'pain in the a hole to get to' coolant hose on the supra.

Finding one the right size was hard. Especially when dealing with repco

What hose are you referring to?

Also, why didnt you get it from Toyota, or is it discontinued now?

Slapped on a roof spoiler. Seems to go pretty well with the new ducktail:
