Interesting, what has he done to it. You may or may not have heard about bazda's car. Thats a 20 valve remeber. Or timid was runnign around a few years ago that was/is also a 20 valve. Oh also don't forget about the audi's some of them are 20 valve although slightly different with 5 cylinders i guess

Yeh, but Infinates curren is running a stock 3s... (despite it being a 3sgte :P ) which was more my point. You can say any engine will be faster than any other if you allow money to be put into it.

Obviously Barrys engine will move his metal faster than Richards, but more to the point, how much has barry spent on his compared to richard.

Too be honest, i have no idea. But i could say with confidence it would be one of the fastest curren in NZ if he could keep it on the road. Keeps breaking engine mounts and gearboxes...

Nothing Wrong with Currens!

Postby slo_curren » Fri Feb 23, 2007 1:05 am

All you slippery jaw's mutha-funkers gotta really re-asses what your talking about! What is a car other than its engine and drivetrain? Nothing really. Get a GT-R Skyline, stick a starlet motor in it and make it Front-Left wheel drive (so that only the front left wheel is getting any power) and that car looses all value! So what it looks like a GT-R, its FLWD! Ok then, so now the Curren. Its basicly a Celica in disguise! What could possibly be wrong with that!
A. They are better looking than Celicas!
B. They are easier to insure than Celicas!
C. They are a funken massive surprise when one beats you, koz they are underrated, unlike Celicas
D. They share almost everything with a Celica, but they dont come out Turbo or 4WD.

C'mon, stop curren hating, start appreciating, and appreciate the fact that a couple of them are running around with 3S-GTE's in em, and if you meet any of them, prepare to b Blitz'd koz they are quick, quicker even (traction willing) than a GT-4, the original donor of that motor!

So when you see me on your block, I aint try'na hide,
Im the slo_curren biatch, I'll whip your ass!

Now some of you will say I shouldnt rap here, but all of you would say a currens enginebay is no place for a turbo either. Well ill give you both, and ill c u at the finish line!

Share the Love brothas (and Toyspeed Sistas!)
The curren is here to stay (well, till it got discontinued.. shame... tear...)
Oooh, that thing has a TURBO!
Yea Biatch - Its the Slo Curren!

Sick Puppy wrote:The only reason it exists is because Celica sales were getting hammered by the Silvia- why do you think Currens and S14 Silvias look alike?

It may not be RWD, or turboed, but that's Toyotas loss- they may make good cars, but they are not necessarily smart. If they made a Curren GT4 I would buy one in a flash.

This Puppy knows his shit!

P.S. Love how this thing converts @ss to buttocks! Ass, Ass!
Gotta Love the Curren
