Was a fairly good day, barring the weather, and a pain that the sunday was rained off, didn't get to race the 2nd round.

I was in the white starlet parked a bit down from you, managed to beat my PB at least with a 14.20@100mph was hoping to get into the 13's but didnt really get enough races to get things right.

trueno_20v wrote:Well i raced at masterton drags for the first time on the 26th and done a 16.2 @ 86mph with a sh*t launch (185/65/14s on the front) but am going to race again in a few weeks (26th december) hopefully have semi slicks but defanitly run my car on av gas lol hopefully get some 15's :x

Just from looking at your trap and time i'd say you should have enough in the car for a high 15, what was your 60 foot time if you don't mind my asking - i used to run 15.0 all the time in my old 20 valve with about a 2.2 60 time when i got that down a bit by playing with suspension etc i started doing 14's quite consitently.
Good on you for getting out there and having a go tho - more people need to do that rather than tearing around the streets thinking they racing

What pressure were you running in your tyres? My best 60 ft time was 2.35 and you should really be getting heaps better traction off the line than me.

I was able to use my semi slicks, i got told to take them off due to lack of tread.
But i have some new tyres now, so should be all good.
Next time i'll be running more boost. (i forgot the belt for my larger pulley)
My best sixty foot time was a 2.3.

because

A) online streaming can be slower than downloading it likes that
B) people have no idea how big it is (9mb) no point sitting there waiting for 5 minutes, when its going to take another 20

From the looks of the video almost looks like your not launching hard enough, the track got quite sticky by the end of the day and i was launching from 5k. Then again I dont see any boost in first gear till about 5-5.5k.
