If you're refering to the Rayglass one, then it doesn't exist anymore. At least, not in SR20 format anymore ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

that guy is a madman. Was there 2 weeks ago and he nailed an 8.3 on his first run, then later he made another run, with no headlights, doing 260km/h into a runoff area with no lighting....balls of steel.
good on him though, very impressive, and great news for the import racing scene

First import into the 7's - thats one hell of an achievement.

Just imagine how much quicker they'd be if they put that engine into something a bit more suitable!

Ive seen it race a couple of meets at masterton this year, he cracked out a 8.033 and a 8.044 last weekend so 7's were definately just around the corner. Very impressed at how straight it runs and how clean it gets off the line.

That was my point - something lighter and RWD. A GTR isn't the best platform for a drag car - really, no 4wd is at the end of the day. The croydons car made 1250hp a while back, this thing will be a world above that number by now. The HKS car was guesstimated at around 1400hp, but only weighed in at around 1200kg, is a featherweight really. That much power in that weight car would be a LOT better in a better configuration.

By all means its an incredible achievement, and promises great things for NZ drag racing.. Just wait till some of the cars in the build come out of the woodwork this year though - trust me
