URGENT HELP PLZ: KE70 Clutch linkage

Hi guys, i seem to have aquired a KE70 wagon and am desperately trying to get it ready for a 400km trip :-/

...one problem with it is the clutch linkage. The pedal and cable are fine, but at the bellhousing there is no way to hook the cable onto the lever/linkage on the bell housing.

I thought it'd be kinda like a heavy accelerator cable setup, but the thick metal end on the cable has no way of hooking on to the lever on the bellhousing.

Is there some piece between the cable the the bellhousing lever/linkage?

If anyone could snap a pic of the correct setup thatd be wicked, thanks in advance ppl
