clean it with a strong detergent, then re-wax that area. has prolly just stripped the wax away,

Definatly. Ever since an idiot chipped some paint off my car I fill my car up myself EVERY single time, just not worth the risk to your paintwork. Clean it off ASAP and give it a decent wax and polish, use some decent stuff if its been on overnight.

Yeah, BP ive noticed are back into offering 'full service' in many areas, I think its all the old people and the people who simply 'dont know how'.

I was helping with RallyNZ a while back and at Mobil Warkworth it was going nuts, very busy, this woman pulls up and asks if someone will fill her car for her! When told no she _drove away_. Like, WTF?

But er, yeah, I wont let anyone but me fill my car with gas, among other things when I say 'fill it up' I mean I want it right up the neck of the gas tank, not simply till it cuts out due to backpressure.
But er, yeah, fuel spills arent permanent, a good wash will take it out, and obviously a repolish afterward.

Cheers
BJ

I used to go hang out with a mate on graveyard shift at Mobil after I finished work, and the amount of people that had no idea how to pump their own gas is pretty amazing....though I did go help some lovely younghot American girls who didnt know how to work the pumps as "They're so different to the ones we have in the states"

1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons

OMG so shiny!
