Very nice. Should be a lot of fun. Please ensure you writeup each of your events for others to enjoy. I salivate every time I read a good motorsport story written by someone in the seat.

Its a pity the water runs directly over the exhaust. Its about the only thing I would change! (that and possibly an aftermarket computer)

I've been thinking about getting back into rallying.. possibly pre 92... offroading is just costing too much.

Seriously..... it would have more power on pump fuel.
Av Gas is slow burning. Unless you have serious compression and need a detonation suppressant... it's utterly useless.

Hmm i almost had to report that as offensive adult content dude.
So will i be seeing you at taupo this year, driving or will i be coming for a ride with you at taupo behind that sticker that i'm assuming you haven't removed from the co-drivers side.
$300 entry for taupo, i'd have a go at it but my starlie won't be ready in time, or i could throw the intercom and teratrip in the datto and have a play - yay for no wof rallys :)

PS You still owe me a wheel and a log book :P

Friggen awesome :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Word of warning, the Taupo classic / 2wd rally is a car killer.

I navigated last year, and there were sections of road where you literally could not speak for 2 km, and there were some bumps that actually winded you.

There were smashed cars all over the place, including one that had the floor ripped out.

yea not planning on doing the taupo for that reason, especially as would be running at the rear of the feild.
Yup it has a hole in the firewall Keith, with removable plate for access to it.

According to the guys i was up there with last year was the roughest one they've done, something to do with the road prep and the rain which was beyond the control of the people who did it. It was mint the night before, then it rained hard during the night and the rivers that came through cut the roads up and the 1st cars through just made it worse
