I expected more!

Bunderson was dynoed again today. With an increase in compression from 11.4:1 to 12.5:1, some head work and a change in cam timing to give more mid range she pulled 177bhp at the wheels.

Considering the spec's I had expected around the mid 180's so there is still some work to be done.

The Helmholtz resonance calcs appear to work, there is a massive hole at 4.2k RPM, which is placed where I'll never use it. Car revs from 6-8.5k RPM with a reasonably flat torque curve, so it should race well.... if the sellotape holds.

I'm not happy with the collectors on the 4-2-1 exhaust system or a couple of bends that arent necessary. So I'll get another constructed when I have the money, with split interferrance collectors and a straighter path.
The answer is Helmholtz!

That is damn impressive, what does that make it at the motor hp-wise?
