Night Speed Drag Wars 17th March, PICS (not 56k friendly)

Who here went to the last one of the season on friday 17th? That bloody crydon supra kissed the wall & pretty much ruined the night, but i guess thats motorsport. There where quite a few 4AG powered cars there. If you where one of them let me know how you got on. I only got 4 runs & ran a best of 15s flat. My first two runs i red lighted & my last was after the supra crashed & the track was quite slippery

What engine combo is in the Venom Supra these days? Used to be good for low 8's didnt it?

any idea what times noddy was running in his 4agte starlet?? (CITNLO)

I have a video of it doing a 7.8 @ 177mph, and heard rumour it may have gone down to a 7.6 at a smidge over 180mph. Quite interesting to see it in NZ.... don't know what motor is has now, if its different to what it was.

I think that it was mid 13's but I could be mistaken there, so apologies if it was faster. Traction seemed to be an issue

The fastest I saw Brad run in the red starlet was a 13.18 on the night.
He said he's run 12s before. He was struggling for traction. The shift light was on for over half the track

I was told he's capable of running 30-35psi and i've seen his nitrous bottle in the boot. Those Whangarei Beaurepaires guys sure build some cool cars

The red Supra runs a V8 with turbo - or does the Venom run one a turbo V8 as well??? Note - the red V8 Supras PB is "only" a 9.
