Bringing in a car from aus???

Postby BBBrad » Sun Jul 16, 2006 7:54 pm

Hi, my sister who lives in aus has just brought a brand new toyota yaris. Its about a month old and done 1k only. Due to a family emergency she has to come and live back in new zealand. Is it possible to bring the car over? Hw much would that cost? I would think it would be easy to comply due t it also being sold in new zealand.
Thanks in advance.
My new car...99 mr-s

definately possible, shipping wouldn't be cheap though, and you'd need to get it reregistered in New Zealand i believe

Yeah it is possible.

Mum and dad bough back their V6 camry they had when they lived there for a year.

Not too sure on what the costs were as it came back in container with a heap of other car parts and stuff.
