Momo factory shop location???

Postby rxtoy » Thu Aug 10, 2006 10:47 pm

i seem to remember from a few years ago there being talk of a factory shop somewhere in Auckland, is it still open??? and if so where is it???

i'm after a Momo Race steering wheel so whats a good price for one and where should i go, there's none on trademe and i don't really think its smart to walk into Mag and Turbo and pay whatever they're asking

if anybody's got a 2nd hand one they're interested in selling i could be keen

cheers
Matt

I paid $140 for my 320mm MOMO Race ex Trademe in fantastic condition, even had a bosskit on it for an Integra which I flogged for $50.

$100 tops is all I'd pay.

Pretty sure they shut up shop & moved down to Wellington, mainly due to dodgey people breaking in & stealing stuff. I've got all the brochures & possibly prices lists at work somewhere, no idea if i can get it cheaper than Mag & turbo etc, as it's not something I've usually bothered with. If you let me know the exact model I could get someone to suss out a price(I'm pretty busy but someone else I work with should be able to do it)

I'd expect to find a Momo factory shop in a country where they make Momo, not NZ ;-P

cheers for that helpful comment.

talking about a distributor shop although they do call themselves factory shop's. there was a momo one, there are rip curl and billabong ones, even though none of them are made in NZ.

cheers
