What was the new price on these?

Wonder if it's had regular maintenance etc. I'd be thinking something would have seized with it just sitting there.

Dont be an idiot, watch your speedo next time it goes to click around a thosand Ks, it moves a little off base.

Like a clock does half past an hour the hour hand dont 100% point to the hour, it moves partway between

I'm pretty sure that was one of the tell tale signs of an odometer being wound back at some stage in its life? All the cars I own (with high k's) are in line perfectly!

Also cars that old scream possibly damaged and taken a while to repair and get back on the road?

Yeh it is. The numbers should still all line up relatively. When theyre off centre that badly, especially numbers like 3 consequetive 0's all on different angles... it is screaming wound back...

Bollocks, that's just how the numbers rotate.

It's so close to ticking over to '1000', which is why the others are jacked up.

you can actually see the number "1" on its way around the rotation if he drove it what 6 more ks to 1000 and you watched it, youd understand.

Wound back and hes asking 55 grand who do you think hes trying to fool? do you not think somone would inspect it ?
