I think you will find that going to the post office is no longer an option, Law changes now prevent any member of the public looking up such details.

im not sure if it has passed yet, but i was changing an ownership the other day and i just waltzed on up to the guy and said he tell me who owns this car, and he told me.... didnt pay or anything, and they had the forms there too.

And the guy was like 50, not a newbie or anything

They haven't removed it yet as far as I know, theres been no back-office release or news update letting us know not to process them. The only thing that someone at the post-office can give you different to the information you will get with your $2.25 is their postal address (you get their physical).. and maybe when the reg/warrant expires.

... and all you folks offering to do lookups in a back-room type arrangement are very likely breaking your terms of employment / terms of use / the law in some level.

If you have a need to gain info about the owner of a rego, theres legit ways of doing it. Toyspeed is not your forum.
