Yeah, they seem to have come out on quite a few models, from the late 80's, I recently stopped to help an old timer who'd run out of gas, he had a mid-80s Corona, had a totally digital dash! No analogue instruments at all.
My old manager had that pictured dash in his AE100 as well. I wouldn't say it was that rare. Cool, but not something to drool over.. unless you're a JDM freak!

Seen alot of digi dashs, just not in an ae101.
Those leather/recaro seats.... were you meaning in an ae101? If so, pics?

the black leather with swade iv seen on 2cars, one was on trademe not so long ago, another used to be a mates don't have any pics sorry, center of the seats and door trims are black swade while the out sides of the seats are black leather

mine had it
was an interesting mix with the analog tacho but was really good. digital tach is hard to read but speedo was easy...
just some random quirky japanese manufacturing trait i guess
