I've used it, albeit it on a shitter car, and it came up alright. Would probably give better results on a better paintjob. Bloody easy to apply!

It's good stuff however at 40 bux a pop i wouldnt think its worth it, im importing heaps of car care products soon, meguiars waxs polishes etc are about 6 bux us over there when they are around $30 i would suggest doing the same but you need to get a fair bit so its worth it as shipping is around $50 us.

Its good for about 30-40 applications says the rep. So it probably works out cheaper. Getting any autoglym in by chance?

Just to bring up an old post, in assumption more people have now tried ice,
What are peoples experiences?
I almost bought some the other day, but have heard mixed reviews, from people saying its great, to others saying it streaks easy and 'does not protect as much' (unsure how they know this).
So yeah, worth the $$ or nothing special in peoples opinions?

I've tried it on my Skyline and although the paint job is 17 years old it did seem to make it a bit shinier i think. Definately made it slippery, so the seagull found out one time when it kept trying to land on the bonnet but always slipped off.

It has a really nice smell. It can be applied no matter if the sun is shining or not. Instead of making rubber parts etc white it makes them black/the proper colour etc.

its bloody awesome stuff. I have a garage full of Mothers and Meguires products and the whole lots getting binned in favour of Turtlewax ice. I used stuff all and it did EVERYTHING, the paint, the plastic, the carbon parts and the wheels and tyres.

At $40 it IS worth it, as its effortless to use, uses minial product and you dont need 3 or 4 different products in the system like Mothers and Meguires - At $20 to $40 each - $90 to $120 a system!)

The best stuff I have ever used is

here

buy that stuff and you will not regret it.

and remember that a wax is only the final step its the work you put in underneath it that counts

For the record, the above wax is what I used on Pugs' integra before its NZPC shoot, shiniest car I have ever seen in that mag ;)

made the car very slippery as well

This guy has an absolutely astounding detailing guide. No real photos in the PDF, but the original thread on the SA forums had a few pics of people who followed it, it makes a dull black car up to a mirror finish.

Yeah, I always give a car a good wax or if required cut and wax before I sell. Makes all the difference imo

I know wax/polishing a car is just the final stage, much like paint is the final 5% when painting. I generally wash my cars every week & wouldnt mind something I can apply with ease say each month, hence I'll give Ice a trial. Cars would probably get a fuller detail once a year really...
