These dubunk the myth that auckland is too dispersed to support a proper rail system, among other ridiculous notions. Well worth a look, and worth spreading around!

They have a very good point.
There is no practical way to get say from Shore to Penrose under 30min except the car. Infact using bus/train right now will cost twice as much as the cost of running the car.
