Yep, hes done that already, Ive congratulated him on the birth of his new child :-D

They arent overly rear as a whole, but that model, wouldnt be many in Nz at all.

I belive that car is a genuine Imported UK Sunbeam Imp Sport. Hence why is badged sunbeam, but is only single head light.

according to what i have read up on these (since the impulse purchase!), they are twin carb with factory hi-lift cam, max speed 90mph 8O . not bad for 875cc from '67!!

Mines got an R17 Cam (very high lift for a road car) being fueled by a 28/36 down draft webber, which is bolted to a custom made Brian Bradshaw manifold, of course with his extractors also. Head is big valved, ported and polished.

Estimated Hp is approx 65 at flywheel. Engine stock is 39!

There is an absolutely mint Imp in Auckland owned by the father of an ex-primary school mate which is used as a daily driver, I'll PM you some details to try to contact him.

Also, the husband of a lady at work is an Imp maniac (has a number of them, including a van and a coupe). He refers to Porsche 911s as "Imps on Steriods"
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976
