NZ imports drags 14th Jan

Postby Bazda » Mon Jan 15, 2007 8:41 pm

Well i just finished my new gear box ready for the drags but it woudlnt select gears properly, so out that came and stuck back in the original one on sat before the drags.

Sunday was a friken hot as Day and they put VHT mid day on the track, it sounded friken sticky as a mother!

On the way down to meremere i pulled into BP solar to get some cash, 2nd gear was making clang clang noises, i was like hmm i hope it lasts.

First run blew 2nd, u can just change into 2nd without the clutch lol, so i tried to do some 1st to 3rd gear runs then packed up and cried about the VHT.

2.2's with those hoosiers isn't that good, he got 2.0 last time, and if he was racing when the vht came out, it would have been 1.#

no tubes, they are proper drag tyres

Not bad considering the breakage.

My mate Deanis was there with his Mighty CRX  . Got second in his class, to a bike mind you.
No bike class for Import Battle, so this dude turned up on his bike and the useless $hits that run the event said oh well run him in N/A. A bike!!!

They need to read the rules. Anything that does faster than 10.99 in a street class, needs to have a roll cage fitted and then run in Prostreet.
So, the bike should have been running Prostreet, or at the least 4WD Turbo.

Anyone else on here racing in the Import Battle series?

So you want the bike to have a roll cage fitted ? maybe if it was a turbo bike they would've run it in a turbo class

Get over it dude, your mate was in the final or is he pissed because some prize money is up for grabs?
