Was having a look on Ebay Australia last night and came across this.

http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search ... =ke20+ford

I mean, sure ya gota admire the workmanship, but they even called it a ke20, not a 25! I personally think it's a bit of a waste of a mint KE25, IMO. What does everyone else think?

I think you'll find it is a 2 door KE20, not a 25....

And Lloyd was going to put a 350 in the Blue one at one stage

Certainly is a KE20 2dr.

And a filthy, FILTHY 250 six.... if it was a bent 8 I could have understood, but a 250. $&#$% crazy/misguided. :?

the 250 is lighter than a v8, and quite torquey. damn good motor.
also old corollas like that are common in aussie. seeing as they dont have imports the older models survived longer

My mistake, i though a 2door ke20 was automatically a ke25 (%&#!$).

A V8 would have been better, but they certainly could have at least made it street legal, instead of just a burnout car!

In Aus they have limits of engine capacity vs weight for their equivalent of cert. When I used to play with Datsun 1200s the CA18DET was a very common swap (in Australia) as the SR20DET was too big. So there's no way that it could have been made road legal with a 6 or an 8, so it may as well be a skid car!
