Postby ~SlideWays~ » Fri Jun 01, 2007 11:37 am

Haven't seen it in a couple of months, does anyone know if they are still around or if they went bust?

Yeah, and I liked how they had more daily driver type cars with mild mods.
The tech articles in that were way better than Performace car.

car and car conversion
english mag, was real good for NO rice and some seriously cool cars
had a section where a race car builder would test a readers car and make a few changes/suggestions as to how to improve it.

Yeah CCC is/was cool.
Concentrated on go, not show.
Got a number of back issues in my car library...

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

yeah i buy evo now, even occasionally pay a few extra $$ to get the airmail version.
after reading about 911's and lambo's etc i realised how pitiful most modified imports really are in the scheme of things

Its a bit different, but Classic Car & Thoroughbred is really, really interesting. They have a lost and found section, where they show classics that people have found stashed away in hay sheds and forests. Really cool read if your after something a bit different.

What do ya'll think of MOTOR magazine? I'm quite a big fan of it and have gone from buying just the Performance Car Of The Year versions to buying it every month. :?

Huh, what, did I hear my name?

Rev hasn't technically gone bust, more into hibernation.
I left in July last year, and I gather the last mag went out in January this year.
Rev copy can still be found in Automag
THe magazine will be back... I am just not sure when. Plus it int my problem anymore :)
I do miss the wet t shirt comps though.
