Timid specs

Im wanting to know where i can find the specs on speedtech timid that 10sec dx from ages ago. I heard someone saying that they were on club 4ag but ive had a search on there and nothing. Was it ever featured in NZPC if so what issue? If anyone can help me out post away.

I think one of those short lived Video Mags did a feature on it too. The car isn't ages ago, the owner still has it.....

yeh she now has the timid plate on her s13 which is pretty nasty.
the dx still sits in the corner somewhere gathering dust, it started being pulled to bits to have a forged engine built and it never really happened.

from memory it was using an essentially stock 4agze bottom end, a silvertop head i think, with some huge turbo. it had garden hoses for fuel lines and midgets on pedal bikes for fuel pumps, and a motec to run it. it was a pretty basic setup that worked really well in the light chassis.

basicly stock rebuild with TRD bearings and 8:1 4agze pistons

Did it have any headwork done to it or was it just a standard silvertop head? I just wanted to know what power it was putting out what compression pistons were being used, what psi, what turbo, what computer. But im also wanting to have a look at its custom plenium what size throttle body was used, as i heard somewhere around here that simon from speedtech reccomended using the single throttle over the itbs.

All the below info is straight out of the article so things may have change since then....

Its didnt mention anything about headwork, 294kw when it was doing 11.44 1/4's, 8:1 compression, oversized factory 4agze pistons, 1.5bar/21.7psi, Garrett GT30 turbo, Motec M48 computer, factory 20v itb's, 3.5l alloy plenum, bell-mouthed runners, running on avgas, sard 720cc injectors

dont think I beat it, as their car was lighter and had alot mroe traction than me. i'm sure last i saw they did a 10.5@212
